Henry Wittenberg, an Olympic gold and silver freestyle wrestling medalist in the 1948 Olympic Games in London, England and 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki, Finland, died on Tuesday March 9, at his home in Somers, N.Y.
He was 91. His death was announced by his daughter Suzan and son Michael. He was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame & Museum as a Distinguished Member in 1977. His bio can be found at: http://www.wrestlinghalloffame.org/bio.php?id=24.
