Museum Information

You are welcome to sit for hours in the Hall of Fame and Museum’s library when you visit us in Stillwater, OK. If you are not able to make the trip to Stillwater, we have provided you with the all of the NCAA Guides and Brackets that we have. Check back with us as we expand the online library.

Prior to his death in February 1999, Bob Dellinger, director of the Hall of Fame from 1976 to 1993, was working on a book about the history of the Hall of Fame and the history of the sport of wrestling. Some of his work is included here to add some of his unique insights into wrestling history.

While visiting the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum is a unique experience and seeing the thousands of pieces of memorabilia that have been collected over the years is truly amazing. The next best thing is to visit the Museum through our virtual tour.
In the Paul K. Scott Museum of Wrestling History, you’ll feel the heat, smell the sweat and experience the excitement of wrestling from ancient to modern times. The John T. Vaughan Hall of Honors profiles those Americans who built the sport and the country, as well as the young stars of tomorrow.
When you enter the Gable/Smith Room, FILA International Hall of Fame, Cliff Keen Theater and William S. Heins Jr. Library, you’ll discover why this is where the wrestling never stops.

One of the most popular attractions of the Paul K. Scott Museum of Wrestling History is the Wall of Champions, the place where American wrestlers are enshrined for eternity based upon their performance on the mat against the best of their generation. From the NCAA Division I Champions to the USA Wrestling Championships to the NWCA Coaches of the Year, the best wrestlers and coaches are recorded here for eternity.

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum is continually trying to strengthen wrestling and continues to do this in part by developing new exhibits each year. Soon we will begin adding a portion of those exhibits to the website. We hope to reach further into this great country and abroad to widen the awareness of the benefits of wrestling.
